Snow Lamed UK and continental Europe

Four airports and railway lines are forced to shut down when severe snow and freezing temperatures struck. 20 to 30 centimeters of snow was found in southern parts and 15 centimeters in the mountain range Pennines. 84 flights were cancelled including 27 in Stansted airport.
Officials were able to reopen Manchester Airport but warned the passengers about the delay. Train services were open but Virgin trains banned some routes. Trains of northern England and Scotland are still yet to open.
Snow also affected the road transportation in central southern England and northern parts of the country.
Cars were stuck and A3 highway is closed for public. Almost all the schools were closed. Salt treatment and Snow plowing were continuous. London, southwest and south east England may suffer from very high snowfall.
Germany was exposed to -22 degree Celsius and Berlin was nearly -8 degree Celsius. Problem became worse when salts were not available to clear heavy snows. Weather forecasters are having tough job as they warned for more snowfall later in the week.
